Face masks or coverings became mandatory in more locations from 8th August, announced by the government.
On 24th July they became mandatory in shops and supermarkets but with the event of increased numbers of local lockdowns further facilities have been included in this list; including storage facilities.
At Easy Access Self Storage we take the safety of our customers seriously and have put numerous cleaning and safety practises in place in all of our stores.
We politely ask that our customers please adhere to government guidelines of wearing a face covering at our self storage branches for their own, other customers and our staff’s on-going safety.
We understand that some adults are unable to wear a mask on medical grounds and this will not affect your ability to access your storage unit should you need to.
Prime Minister Boris Johnson announced, “We now recommend face coverings are worn in these settings, and this will become enforceable in law from August 8.”
Storage facilities are amongst cinemas, places of worship, libraries, community centres and more where visiting customers must wear a face covering.
When visiting our Manchester and Stockport self storage facilities you will find that as a sign of respect all of our staff are wearing face masks when they are with customers.
