Every self storage unit at Easy Access Self Storage is individually alarmed and is monitored 24 hours a day, giving our customers total peace of mind.

State of the art digital CCTV cameras monitor all access points, exits and the areas outside at all of our sites, 24 hours a day, helping to keep your storage unit incredibly safe. Out of hours, an external security company takes over and monitors every one of our self storage facilities using these cameras along with our intruder detection systems.

Individually Alarmed Storage Units

Every Easy Access Self Storage unit in Manchester and Stockport is individually alarmed so your personal belongings are as safe as can be. In the unlikely event of someone gaining access without your unique PIN, an alarm is immediately activated, notifying both our reception and our Monitoring Centre.

Electronic Security Gates And Perimeter Fencing

Each of our storage locations has secure perimeter fencing and electronically coded security gates. Customers can use their individual PIN access codes to pass through these to gain access to their self storage unit facilities 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Fire Protection

We adhere closely to advice received from the Fire Authorities to minimise fire risk when organising our stores. We implement strategic fire prevention procedures in all our self storage facilities by investing in both active security systems to monitor stores and by assessing what customers are storing and how.

All our storage unit facilities are fitted with fire and smoke detectors which alert our in-store team (or the 24 hour monitoring centre when the stores are closed). In the event of any alert, the appropriate emergency services are immediately notified and dispatched to the scene.

In short, we have invested highly in the following measures:

  • All of our storage units have prominent and well lit locations
  • All units are fully alarmed and floodlit
  • Fire safety measures are followed rigorously.
  • Secure perimeter fencing is installed across the site
  • You will receive your own lock and pin code to the entry system so you can trust your goods are safe, secure with access to them at any time.
  • Our gates are electrically coded with intruder/fire alarms
  • Digital CCTV and motion detectors are in operation 24/7
